• 1 PDU - Episode 17: Analysis of Online Media Use Among OT Practitioners

    Social Media is still relatively new and as OTs we are still working to figure out how we can best utilize the internet to both support our clients and ourselves. This Professional development opportunity focuses on what online resources OTs are using and how we can be sure to get the most out of our online experiences.


    Jayson and Abby will review the results of a survey they conducted and share how OTs are currently utilizing the internet and how OTs can best use online media. They will also review precaustion that OTs, especailly working in the public school system, should take regarding the use of online media. 


    Following this professional development opportunity, you will:


    1. Understand current trends related toonline use among school-based OTs
    2. Be able to identify locations on the web to find support and guidance
    3. Understand the importance of being self-aware when consuming of producing online media


    When purchased, you will receive a document instructing you to take a short quiz in order to demonstrate mastery of the learning objectives. You will also receive a file that includes the powerpoint shows that accompanies this presentation


    Upon passing the short quiz, you will be provided a certificate of completion to use for state licensure and/or national board certification renewal.
